Belmont police are investigating the fatal shooting of an unidentified man in the area yesterday.
Newspower understands residents of Erthig Road reported hearing loud explosions in the area and upon investigating they found the man with gunshot wounds about the body.
He was rushed to hospital where died on arrival.
