Wake up and not shake off the findings of the latest North American Caribbean Teachers Association, opinion poll is the advice the Congress of the People is sending to the government.
The poll was conducted in July to find out the views of citizens on a variety of issues impacting on the nation.
The survey interviewed 510 persons and was conducted by New York pollster Vishnu Bisram.
One of the findings of the poll is that the ruling PNM has slipped in popularity since the last election with a large majority of voters saying they are dissatisfied with the way the country is being governed.
The survey said some people interviewed did not view the Opposition UNC Alliance as an alternative to the PNM.
However, Deputy Political Leader of the COP, Prakash Ramadar, said the government must show greater will to address the major issues affecting citizens such as crime and the rising cost of living.
He urged the Prime Minister to be careful of his position that the political wind of change sweeping incumbent regional governments will not a hurt the ruling PNM.
