Clean up operations are expected to move into full swing today following heavy rain fall and flooding in several parts of the country particularly the capital city yesterday.

Hundreds of commuters and motorists found the going tough as many were affected by traffic gridlock.

Some roads were impassable due to land slides and fallen trees.

Some people complained the situation showed the inability of the authorities to properly address areas such as drainage while some persons said citizens have contributed to the problem.
