There is an assurance a system will be implemented in each local government Ministry to bring relief to areas affected by Natural Disasters.

Speaking in an interview with Newspower today during her tour of communities affected by yesterday’s mass floods, Local Government Minister Hazel Manning says disaster preparedness co ordinators will be placed in communities.

The system involves getting all responsible agencies together in an effort to bring speedy relief to residents.
