Come next Tuesday …citizens can expect a reduction in the price of flour…and several of its products.

The National Flour Mills Limited … in a statement …announced a soon to come fall in the price of flour.

NFM said it was making good on a promise to pass on savings "from falling wheat prices to our valued customers.

The company explained its stock of higher priced wheat was almost totally depleted, and therefore it was in a favourable position to provide more affordable flour to the national community."

And the Kiss Baking Company Ltd also had good news for customers yesterday

They too…announced a general reduction in the price of its Kiss brand of bread …which they say will also take effect from next Tuesday.

The company said it had taken the decision to reduce prices in "anticipation of price decreases in major raw material inputs... "
