Clean up operations continue throughout the capital city… the east west corridor and other parts of the country.
This follows heavy rains and massive floods on Tuesday.
Yesterday Port of Spain Mayor Murchison Brown left the comfort of his office to go out into the fields to see what was taking place
He explained many of the workers from the City Corporation and CEPEP had been working through the night to ensure things brought back to normal by today.
Mayor Brown complained while the floods were an act of nature …it was also the result of the irresponsible behaviour of citizens …

According to Mr Calliste 9 crews were dispatched …not only in Port of Spain… but Diego Martin …Cascade… Barataria and San Juan…
