The input of a legal firm is being sort by the government to review existing laws concerning the operation of the Town and Country Planning Division.
Housing Minister, Dr Emily Gaynor Dick Forde, notes this process is very critical as it would focus on how the Ministry can better enforce its regulations.
She admitted there is need for the present system to be revisited since the Town and Country Division has encountered several challenges along the way in carrying out its work.
However, the Planning Minister said the process has started to correct the issue.
Dr Forde also urged persons interested in building structures on hilly areas to comply with the rules and get the necessary approval.
