Caribbean Airlines is hoping there will be no more further sick –out action by air traffic controllers.

The employees returned to work at both airports yesterday, after an injunction was granted by the Industrial Court to the Civil Aviation Authority.

The workers action resulted in a many local and international flights being cancelled or delayed.

The C.A.A. and the Public Services Association are currently negotiating air traffic controller’s salaries.

Director of Marketing at Caribbean Airlines Francois Pariseau explains the interruptions of flights did put a strain on its operations.

Pariseau assures that several back up plans have been put in place to address problems in the future.

He praised the C.A. crew for giving their best in challenging circumstances, and is hoping differences between the parties involved will be resolved soon.
