Never take electrical safety tips for granted.
This message comes from the Corporate Communications Manager, of the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission, Steven Martel.
The advice comes on the heels of the electrocution of a third person in the past three weeks.
On October 17th, 11 year old Rishie Danraj was electrocuted behind his Ramjattan Trace home in Penal.
15 year old Natasha Smith of 22nd Street, Beetham Garden was also electrocuted on October 24th and 33 year old Keith Thomas of Quarry Village, Siparia was reportedly electrocuted while welding a water tank yesterday.
Martel warns electrical safety guidelines cannot be ignored at any time as it could result in death.
He says the Commission would continue its awareness campaign, on sensitizing the public on the importance and seriousness of electricity.
