The ruling People’s National Movement is distancing itself from the upsurge in acts of vandalism and intimidation in the count down to the November 5th poll.

Police say there is no evidence to suggest the incidents are politically motivated.

Speaking during a news briefing at his White Hall office today, Prime Minister Patrick Manning said his party does not condone or support such behavior.

He believes there is fighting between the Congress of the People and the United National Congress Alliance and this is area that has to looked at.
