A 24 year old Arima man will appear before a Magistrate tomorrow morning charged with possession of 30 kilograms of marijuana.

Around 4 o’clock this morning, officers of the Arima CID lead by Corporal Cataru executed a search warrant at the suspect’s Maturita Village, Kingdom Avenue home.

It is alleged during the search, 30 kilograms of compressed marijuana was found.

The man who is not known by police to be involved in any illegal activities was arrested and taken to the Arima Police station where was formally charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.

Constable De Souz laid the charge.
