Congress of the People candidate for Cumuto Manzanilla Wendy Lee Yen is calling for a public debate on the agricultural sector with just one week to go before the general elections.

Speaking at their campaign meeting in Sangre Grande she slammed several projects under government’s vision 20/20 plan.

Ms Lee Yen also critized the government for closing down the National Agro Chemical Limited.

She adds that it was one of the places you can get the cheapest chemicals for farming.
