A 54 year old San Juan businesswoman was shot dead early this morning at O’Meara Road, Arima.

Reports are around 12:30 AM, Fareesa Mohammed of El Socorro was sitting in a vehicle with her boyfriend when 2 men approached.

As she was driving off, the assailants fired a shot, hitting Mohammed in the chest.

She crashed into a lamppost and died on the spot.
