The blaming game on the issue of crime was evident in the House of Representatives this afternoon.

Diego Martin North\East Member of Parliament Colm Imbert says during the tenure of the United National Congress in office, the party engaged in certain practises which encouraged criminal activity.

He said a proper study on criminal gangs in the country would show their growth increased during the U.N.C.’s stint in government from 1996-2001.

Minister Imbert said the opposition went into certain communities in a bid to get their support but engage in questionable dealings.
