President of the Media Association of Trinidad and Tobago, Joanne Briggs says, San Fernando East MP Junia Regrello should apologise if allegations made against him turn out to be true.

Yesterday veteran South reporter Judy Bhola accused Regrello of verbal abuse, while speaking to her colleague after yesterday’s monthly meeting of the San Fernando City Council.

She said, during the outburst the Government Official accused her of not supporting his election campaign.

According to her, a similar incident occurred at the Trinidad and Tobago Cement Limited’s Christmas media lime.

When contacted this morning, Briggs says the Association will continue its efforts to get the other side of the story.
