In an effort to channel the energies of young men between the ages of 13-20 the Youth Transformation project was formed. The Hart Boys, as they are called, was formed to cater mainly to ex- residents of the St.Mary’s orphanage and the nation.

Hart Boys’ president and founder, Jerry Richards, sees the club as a positive initiative. He is also an ex- resident of the St. Mary’s Orphanage in Tacarigua.

He sees the role of the club in his community as not only in football but in developing the life skills of its members.

However, he laments, that funding for the club has been a very difficult matter as current funding is sourced from the pockets of him and his staff.

Richards is calling on the public to lend some assistance in helping his team to purchase equipment for the coming season. He can be reached at 762- 7908
