Khan on Piggott Statements

The Agriculture Minister seems to be becoming less and less popular with local farmers.

Yesterday President of the Sheep and Goat Society Shiraz Khan, summed what the minister said to the nation… as it pertains to the food situation in the country …as a deliberate lie

On Monday…after months of silence on the issue of food prices…Minister Arnold Piggott finally broke his silence …

Addressing those gathered at a press conference at the Kapok hotel …he claimed there was no food shortage in Trinidad and Tobago

But a cynical Khan says the Minister was forced to say something…anything…because local farmers forced him to step forward

Khan claims protest action outside the minister’s St Clair office and in front of Whitehall flushed him out of silence
