The life of a 30 year old man of Morvant has been taken.

Reports are around midnight; Junior Joseph was in his car at the Churchill Roosevelt Highway and Macoya intersection when he was shot several times by 2 men who came out of another vehicle.

Joseph who investigators say was freed of a murder charge died at the scene.

In April this year an unsuccessful attempt was made on his life while in the car park at Pier 2 Chaguaramas after attending a cruise on the Treason Queen.

His killing brings to 255 the number of murders for the year so far.
