A man is dead following a vehicular accident along Guanapo road around 1 o’ clock this morning.

Reports state the driver of the car tried to avoid an accident when the car skidded and ended on a river bank.

Quasie Butcher, 30 the driver of the car and occupant 24 year old Akil Walker were taken to the Sangre Grande Hospital where walker was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Butcher was treated for minor head injuries and later discharged.
