National Flour Mills says its 24 percent increase in flour prices will take effect from July 1st 2008.
The company says this decision was made as prices on the world grain market continue to be volatile due to adverse weather conditions.
In a release NFM says it continues to absorb some of the increases in raw material and other cost to minimize the full impact on consumers.
The company says this price adjustment should be the last for 2008.
It adds that it has met with all stakeholders and major customer to discuss the adjustments as the price increase would impact the cost of flour products.
