Head of Crime Stoppers Trinidad and Tobago, Keith Subero is boasting the association has received a significant number of leads concerning the location of illegal firearms.
He made the comment following what he describes as a successful “Leggo De Gun campaign” …which ended last month.
According to Subero, the Association intends to forward the information to police so that the necessary enquiries could be carried out
Subero attributed the campaign’s success to citizens simply being tired of the escalating crime situation.
He said this was enough to encourage them to come forward with information.
And Subero said, because it went so well, the Association will have other upcoming programmes…many of which will be geared towards the nation’s youth.
