Police Officer Freed on Drug Charges After Being Caught by Undercover Cops.

A 46 year old Police Officer was today freed after appearing in court on drug trafficking charges.

According to reports, in 2004 David Marez took 2 men who said they wanted to buy drugs into some bushes in Beverly Hills, Point Fortin and gave them 5 kilograms of cocaine.

The men, who were undercover police officers, arrested Marez for allegedly attempting to sell drugs.

He appeared before Justice Ronnie Boodoosingh in the San Fernando High Court.
