While he says there was no pre-determined sum for the Culture Ministry’s contribution…they had agreed to contribute

He did confirm though that the first prize had been paid…

The Foundation says they have repeatedly sent letters to stakeholders on the matter …and they say even the artistes have been calling on Government to keep its end of the bargain

The Foundation is renewing its call to the Patrick Manning Led administration to meet with them to settle the issue …as this is causing a delay in the preparation of this year’s chutney competition
