Prime Minister Patrick Manning wants national and individual emancipation to be an ongoing effort for both leadership and citizens.

In his Emancipation Day Message, Mr Manning said the country has been shaped by hands of many colours and minds of many culture.

This he added had been done amidst an intermingling that makes us unique in many ways.
