Arima Mayor, Adrian Cabralis is urging the government to attend to the developmental needs of the Borough.
He made the appeal during this morning’s Interfaith Thanks Giving Service, to mark the 120th anniversary celebration of the Royal Chartered Borough.
The event was held at the Malabar Roman Catholic Church.
Mayor Cabralis reminded the government of the Borough’s support in the past and stressed that it critical for the favour to be returned.
He called on burgesses to no longer be silent on matters affecting them.
Some of the infrastructural needs of Arima were outlined.
These he said include an Indoor- Sporting Complex, a traffic hub, post office and a high court building.
Mayor Cabralis also called for the collapsed Mount Pleasant Bridge to be fixed; since it has left several residents cut off from other areas.
