Should Trinbagonians be worried about crossing the nation’s bridges???

This morning former Works and Transport minister Dr Carson Charles assures the nation there’s no need for panic following Saturday’s accident on the Bailey Bridge …which claimed the life of a 44 year old man…and injured several others

Speaking on national television Dr Charles explains however…incidents like these are not considered the norm… Minister Imbert needs to put a system in place to ensure the structural integrity of all bridges around the country

Dr Charles says he does not believe it should take a crisis to force Government to perform

In the meantime Chaguanas MP Jack Warner strongly believes Works Minister Colm Imbert should be held accountable for the accident on the Bailey Bridge

He explains if Imbert was in another country and had been responsible for such an accident …he would have been jailed…or at least sacked

Warner says he feels deeply hurt about the incident which occurred between his constituency and that of St Augustine MP Vasant Bharath

Speaking on national television …Warner explains the accident should never have occurred
