San Fernando fishermen are expected to meet with Prime Minister Patrick Manning next week to discuss their concerns about the water taxi service.

The meeting will take place at Manning’s constituency office.
San Fernando West MP Junia Regrello said he met with the fishermen and gave his assurance that the fishing industry was safe.
Fishermen have expressed concerns that the water taxi service will affect their livelihood and claim that catamarans will scare the fish away.
