A 17-year-old- labourer of East Port-of-Spain was this morning gunned down in the area.

Kevin Samuel, was standing at the corner of La Resource Road and Upper Pashley Street, around 10 15am when a gunman walked up to him and shot him in the chest at point blank range.

He died on the spot.

Homicide officers are currently on the scene
