The murder toll goes up notch… after two people were gunned down in separate incidents in Chaguanas last night.

According to reports approximately 8:15 pm 53 year-old Steve Stewart was standing on London Street in Chaguanas…with friends Ato German and Kevin Thomas when a car pulled up and open fire on them.

The three men were rushed to the Chaguanas Health facility where Stewart died.

German and Thomas were transferred to Mt Hope Medical Sciences Complex where there are now warded.

And in another incident

Around 9:15 pm 48 year-old Vincent John was sitting in his gallery at Nimlette Street in Chaguanas when gunmen approached and opened fire on him.

John was taken to hospital but died before reaching the institution.

Investigations are continuing.
