Sangre Grande Police are still searching for the prisoner who escaped police custody

Yesterday morning, 28 year-old Damien Tyson, who is charged with murder, managed to elude police while being escorted to Sangre Grande Magistrates court just around ten o’clock .

The area was on a virtual lockdown for most of the day, as police combed the area for the murder accused.

Inspector Fermin Roy and Sgt Beverley Paul are again spearheading investigations.
