While many are busy celebrating the nation’s 45th Independence Anniversary, residents of the sister isle are not in a celebratory mood.
This is due in part to the absence of a Tobagonian on the National Crime and Justice Commission is not going down well with the people of the sister isle.
Chairman of the National Alliance for Reconstruction Christo Gift described the non –appointment of a resident Tobagonian as disrespectful and contemptuous.
He goes on to question whether those on the Commission are going to speak about the concerns of Tobago when their final report is presented.
