The Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago is assuring while the company plans to stay competitive, workers would not be unfairly treated.

T.S.T.T. recorded a profit of 169 million dollars for the period March 2007 to March 2008.

The utility lost 239 million dollars in the previous financial year.

Chief Financial Officer Rakesh Goswami explains in spite of several challenges which affected its revenue such as cable theft, the company would work closely with the Communication Workers Union to make sure workers are properly treated.
