A 10 month old baby girl has died at her Point Door Road, Point Ligor home.

Annie Cudjoe had reportedly been playing with her 10 year old brother at approximately 5:15pm on Thursday when their heads clashed.

The child fell into an unconscious state and was rushed to the Point Fortin District Hospital.

She was then transferred to the San Fernando General Hospital but died before arriving at the institution.

A post mortem is expected to be done on the toddler’s body to confirm the cause of death.
