St James police are investigating the early morning shooting death of a man

It’s reported at approximately 1 o clock this morning Adrian St Rose was liming with friends in the vicinity of Smokey and Bunty…when 2 gunmen approached and opened fire…sending the crowd scampering to safety

Details are limited but according to police…St Rose received several bullet wounds and died on the spot

It’s unconfirmed… but we’re told 5 others were seriously injured and remain warded at the Port of Spain General Hospital

Police say St Rose was a known drug lord

Up to newstime the streets were cordoned off
