Trinidad records its first Swine flu case

Word today from Health Minister Jerry Narace that the first case of swine flu has been recorded here in Trinidad and Tobago.

The announcement was made at a special media conference at the Health Ministry’s Head Office at the corner of Park and Edward Street in Port of Spain.

The Caribbean Epidemiology Centre revealed to date 67 countries have reported 19,273 confirmed cases of the condition including 117 deaths.
