Embattled Mayaro MP Winston “Gypsy” Peters made it clear he was not too comfortable with the close door talks between the Prime Minister and the Opposition Leader.

He made the statement in a News Power interview hours before the meeting on Tuesday.

While Peter’s said there was nothing constitutionally wrong with such a meeting, he claimed something was troubling him, as it pertained to how the meeting came about.

Speaking during a televised interview Mr Peters suggested that just maybe both stood to gain from the controversial meeting.
