Tobago police are being praised by the island’s hoteliers association for making arrests in connection with the murder of a German engineer.

56 year old Peter Taut was found in a shallow grave at his Bacolet Crescent, Tobago home a few days ago.

His murder brought the number of killings in the sister isle so far to eleven for 2009.

On August 1st British couple Peter and Murium Greene was chopped about their bodies while resting at their Bacolet Crescent home.

In a News Power interview today President of the Association,  , said the killing did nothing to improve the image of the island and the country.

She however, praised the police for restoring some level of confidence by making progress in their investigations into the homicide.
